WHO WE ARE
Our Story
Our founders—paramedics, physicians, and health advocates—came together after witnessing the struggles faced by remote medical professionals lacking representation and professional guidance. In part, this is because the only guidance or support currently available is related to the primary certification or license, not the specificity of applying their Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities in the Austere, Remote, or Industrial environment. The founders envisioned an organization that would not only advocate for improved standards in remote medical care but also equip professionals with the tools, training, and community support they need to perform in the most extreme conditions.
Our Mission
At NARMP, our mission is to advance the quality of medical care in remote and industrial environments. We achieve this by:
- Empowering Professionals: Providing advanced training, certifications, and resources tailored to the challenges of remote medicine.
- Building Community: Creating a network where remote medical professionals can share knowledge, experiences, and innovations.
- Advocating for Excellence: Setting industry standards and promoting best practices to ensure the highest level of care.
- Enhancing Preparedness: Offering tools and guidelines to address a wide range of medical emergencies, from trauma to infectious diseases.
