Eric Coley began working in rural EMS in 1994 as an EMT in Tuskegee Alabama, for Hanes Ambulance service.  He earned his Alabama state and National Registry of EMT’s level Paramedic certification in 1995.  In 1996, he began working as a Paramedic for a metropolitan e911 fire and EMS service with a level two trauma center in Columbus Georgia.  In 1998, he began working for Acadian Integrated Solutions Contract Services Division on a round leg Penrod Jack Up drilling rig in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

Since that time, he has worked in multiple states and on every continent except Antarctica and has worked in multiple offshore and remote environments.  Eric has dedicated himself to being a life-long learner and has earned an Associate of Science in Nursing, an Associate of Science in EMS, a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety & Health, a Master of Science in Occupational Safety & Health, a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Philosophy in Industrial & organizational Psychology, and is currently working to complete a PhD in Industrial & Organizational Psychology.

In that time, he realized there is a great need for a centralized organization designed to support remote medical professionals and the organizations that utilize their services and has worked to develop the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to support those on similar journeys.
